1. Search for your business

 

Curious where to start? First things first.

 

Wrench Professionals is an internet and mobile app software that connects customers with great repair businesses. There is a chance that your business may already be found in the Wrench Professionals directory.

 

Why? Because during the launch of our product we wanted to make sure we had enough 4.5 to 5 STAR repair businesses for customers to find. We used Yelp’s database to find several hundred businesses with amazing ratings and reviews. Most of the listings will also show those reviews. Our team worked together for weeks to add them all to the program.

 

How do you know if your business is already listed?

 

Easy! Just click in the search bar and start typing your business name! If your business name shows up, simply click on it to view your listing.

 

For example, in this tutorial we will walk you through the steps to claim “Action Gator Tire”.

3.  Click “Is this your listing”

 

 

As you scroll down and view the listing, you might already see the great Yelp reviews on the right hand side.

 

** In order for your listing to show Yelp reviews, the “Title” of your listing must be an exact match as the “Title” of your Yelp listing.

 

When you are done looking at the listing we have already prepared for you, click the Red link “Is this your listing?”

4. Log in or sign up

 


 

Your first step to claiming your listing is to “Create an Account” or “Log In” if you already have taken the steps to create an account before finding this tutorial.

 

You can use Google or Facebook to quickly and securely log in, or you can create a profile with your email address.

5. Choose a listing package

 

Next you will be asked to choose a listing package. We recommend you choose the “BUSINESS PACKAGE”.

 

All Claimable listings were created on the Business package plan, but if you are curious, you can see all the packages and their features when you click this link: https://www.wrenchprofessionals.com/sign-up

 

A Featured Package makes your listing stand out from the competition.

 

A WP Managed Business Package is fully managed by our team, we will do all the work to make your profile top notch and keep it updated for you when you request.

6. Edit your title, categories, and summary

 

 

If you do not agree with what we wrote about your business, here is your chance to edit it.

 

**Just remember, if you want YELP to work with your listing, you need to make sure you business name matches your YELP business name exactly.

 

For most of the businesses we’ve added, we selected a few categories that we think best match the business.

 

Please click on the Black “SELECT” button to see all the available categories in case we missed a few.

 

Your Summary Description is important. This is what potential customers will see before they click to view your listing.

 

**NOTE** Not all businesses on Wrench Professionals will have fully detailed summaries or descriptions due to not being able to find enough information about your business to add.

 

This is your chance to correct what may be a mistake on our part.

7. Edit your description.

 

 

Your description is very important! Right here is where your customer is going to focus a good part of their attention.

 

You should write a good story about your business and prove to potential customers why you should be the only shop they visit.

 

You can click the corner of the text box and Drag it downwards to give you more room to see, think, and type.

8. Add keywords and contact info

 

 

Keywords are important. They allow you to choose what words or phrases customers can use to find your listing. If you claim to be the best tire, wheel, and full service in Orlando Florida like Action Gator Tire, then you want to use keywords like: “Best Tire Shop Orlando” “Wheel and Tire Shop Orlando” “Orlando Wheel and tire shop” “Orlando Tire shop” “Orlando Full Service shop”

 

Just try to think like your customer would and choose up to 10 keywords to help people find your listing.

 

Your contact info is important. This is exactly what potential customers will see and try to contact you with. If you have a dedicated service advisor, then you should use his or her contact info here for customers to contact and schedule services.

 

**NOTE** if your CITY does not show up on the list, you can easily add it to the list by clicking “+Add a new city” then type in your correct city name.

9. Add location reference and social media

 

 

If your business is secretly tucked behind a building or hard to find from the street, you can add extra location details in the reference box.

 

For Example:

 

“Our shop is located beside the Oak Plantation Resort, you need to be traveling Westbound on 192 to access our parking lot”

 

SOCIAL MEDIA!

 

If you have a Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or more add your links here! This will help you grow your followers on social media.

 

If you add your Facebook page, it will be featured on your listing and customers can see your most recent Facebook Business posts.

10. Edit your features, hours, and add SEO keywords

 

 

Your features are a quick and easy way to share to potential customers what your business specializes and focuses on.

 

Your Hours will let your customers know when your business is open and free to contact.

 

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

 

Are you ready to learn how to do some SEO? We know you get countless phone calls about SEO on a daily basis.

 

SEO helps your listing get found not just on Wrench Professionals, but also on Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

 

Its crucial to show up when people are searching for you. Your SEO Title, Page Name, and Description should already be filled out. You will need to add SEO keywords to help people find your business.

11. Add promotional code!

12. Add or edit photos

 

 

Your listing has a cover photo, and a photo gallery.

 

COVER PHOTO:

 

Now we did not spend much time on your cover photo so you may want to replace it with a better photo that is 1920 x 480 in size.

 

To remove your cover photo, click the Red “Trash Can” button. The click on the black “CHOOSE FILE” button to find a replacement photo.

 

PHOTO GALLERY:

 

With the Business Package you are allowed to choose up to 12 photos for your gallery. If you want to edit the name of the photo or add a description to the photo, click the Black “Pencil” button to edit. You can also trim and crop the images in the editor.

13. Add videos and files

 


 

You can also add a Youtube or Vimeo video to your listing by copying and pasting the video link into the text box. If a picture is worth a 1000 words, then a video is priceless.

 

You can also upload a document file. If you have a business brochure or special coupon, this is the best place to put it. Customers will be able to download it and view it.

14. Scroll down and click “NEXT”

 

 

When you are done editing your listing, please scroll all the way down the page and click the red “NEXT” button.

15. Payment options

 

 

Here is where you can choose your payment options.

 

Choose your monthly or yearly recurring payment plan.

 

For best business practices, we prefer to use PayPal for transactions. If you selected “by PayPal' and do not have a PayPal account, you will be given the opportunity to create a free PayPal account during checkout.

 

When you are ready, click “NEXT”.

16. Continue to PayPal

 

 

Please verify the information is correct then click “Pay by PayPal”.

17. Log in or use credit / debit

 


 

You are now on the PayPal website.

 

You have 2 options.

 

If you already have a Free PayPal Account, click “Log In”

 

If you need to create a free PayPal Account, click “Pay using your credit or debit card”

*You will be taken to another page to enter your information to create your free account.

18. Log in to PayPal

 

If you already have a PayPal account and you clicked “Log In” on the previous page, please add your username and password, then click Log In. You will be taken to the checkout page to review your order once more.

19. Agree and pay

 

 

Please verify the information is correct one last time then click “Agree and Pay”.

 

You will be taken to an order confirmation page.
